I recommend that a new forum be added within "The Good Stuff" section called Iraqi Society. It would be one that would serve the same purpose as the Iraqi Economy, Iraqi Stock Exchange, etc.

Iraqi politics and social issues are a predominant theme on these boards and aren't quite the hot buttons as US politics. Iraq is being shaped by socio-political reform and this is a major component to the success (or failure) of the dinar.

This Iraqi Society topic should be front and center on this forum, but also separated from the more "financial" and "logistical" topics. It presently doesn't have a rightful home, so most of these posts end up in the the Iraqi Dinar forum. This makes it a little difficult to sift from posts more directly related to the dinar.

The political forum we currently have does not serve this purpose and isn't a viable alternative since it's so far separated from the rest of this forum. It is more related to US politics, which obviously carries more passion and has served as the boxing ring for political slugfests.

I believe the addition of the Iraqi Society forum would go a long way in organizing some of the posts here.

Your thought are welcome.

Amen brother.

I for one am very interested in the political climate, and the people's views. I can't help but think about the movie "Voices of Iraq" as I read many of these posts. It shows first hand, current, heartfelt exposure to the climate of Iraq. As speculative investors in what currently amounts to a penny stock, but is actually the reformation of a nation, we need to be concerned and educated about these issues. I see several people on this forum have dumped considerable $$ into this, so having an area that focuses on the positive, which brings to light actual developments, would be a fantastic thing. We can get all the negativity we want on network television.

I still think that an Iraqi Society Section would help better organize this board. With the recent elections and the influx of new members, it seems like many off subject topics are being posted all over the forum.

Just my two decimals
