Reval in March ???

It depends how you define a reveal. 100 pips 1000 pips I would say that by April we should see 1000 to 1 and then a major reveal after the HCL is passed

Some guy just told me he doesn't think it will reval past 1000-1 and they will Lop first.....then reval 1-1. If they lop 3 Zeros off the currency of 1000000 Dinar -- we now have 1000 Dinar and a 1-1 reval means that our currency is now worth $1000 . Whats your thoughts on this guys theory ?

No seriously....I'm just being a devils advicate here: It makes common sense to lop and reval at 1-1. We won't lose money on this but we won't gain any either which is our intent.

Give me 3 GOOD REASONS why you don't think the dinar will LOP ?

With all the news of Sadr running, Oil found in the Sunni areas, training for bankers, dinar auctions increasing including the rate, Baghdad security plan, Iraq on its way into the WTO, Iranian officals running from Iraq. Things out of the mainstream seem to be looking positive. Iran needs to keep their nose out of Iraq. Recently they have beefed up Naval ops in Iraq waters. Iran might see Iraq as a threat.

Thanks EthenolBoy...Tis a good question. The answer most often given is because Iraq finance officials have said on numerous occasions there will be NO LOP. Some have even been fired for suggesting it. Even with that been stated, it wouldn't surprise me if they did LOP. Just because they have said it won't happen....DOES THAT FOR SURE MEAN THEY WON'T? We are talking about Iraq here. Those that KNOW FOR SURE that if Iraq says one thing, they won't do another, please comment NOW. I will not be surprised if there are no takers on this one

They will not LOP, They will raise the three O'S off the Value which is Different than a LOP. If they Raise three O's off the Value it will be a Dollar to the Dollar in other words 25,000 Dinar would be worth $25,000 USD.:rolleye03

If it go's 1 to 1000 they will raise the three 000's of the 1000 and make it 1,in which will make it 1 Dinar which will make $1.00 USD to 1 IRD, that in turn will make it 1 to 1 or if they Reval a little bit higher 1 USD to 1.26 IRD or they could go as high as 1 USD to 3.26 IRD Which is called a Reval. Now when they do that you will become a Millionare if you have 1,000.000 IRD, so 25,000 IRD would be $ 25,000 USD.:happy64: :happy64: :happy64:
