Below is a copy of an email Hayder sent me in response to a prior email that I was having difficulties setting up an account at AlWarka Bank. I also, after receiving this email, directed him to check out this forum.....hope he can be of help to us. He is responsive to emails and hopefully we can develop trusting business relationships. Hayder please let us know of others you are providing service for.

Dear sir,
Thank you for your email. The bank can not transfer USD to Iraqi Dinar. You can open an account in any Iraqi bank with both Iraqi Dinar or USD.
To open an account in Id or USD in any Iraqi bank you have to come to Iraq to open it, or you can transfer your mony(in ID or USD) to any Iraqi bank and keep it with them in your name tell you come and have it or let any person authorized by you to have it.

As a broker in Baghdad can you offer an opinion as to the best way to prepare us for trading in the ISX, such as an alternative to having a Warka bank account ?

But Could Hayder produce some type of documation of who he is ?

How many years has he done this type of work ?

Having the company I started ( 9 years ago )and grew , God Willing , from the ground up is hard work ..and short changing dedication is not an option :huge: .

To start a company requires legal direction and laws must be followed ....

Just saying you are a company and actually being one ARE two different things .. There are requirements that must be met ...

To start a fictious company with anyone of any sort without not Knowing 150% the persons you are dealing with could lead to serious problems ... be careful ...

I do know that Foreign business are permitted to trade on The ISX now .. but who is going to do this for me is what I 'm investigating .


R told me she could register my Business account with Warka .. but I want & would need Internet access to my account to trade as needed ..

Warka isn't set up for that yet..hopefully they will be in the future ...

There are a few Brokers / Banks that will ..
I just have to proceed with caution !!! look twice , even three times before you leap !!!

Your concern is valid and I dont think Hayder would take offense in that. Anyway, if you want to ask him anything, you can either email or PM him. He responds to emails promptly. I think he checks his emails daily.

Hayder, maybe you can tell us more info on how to go about with our investment. What types of businesses are you into right now? Looking forward to any info you can share. :wave:

Just minutes ago, I received this email from Hayder. At least he emails...I can't get through to Alwarka Bank. However, looks like I was mistaken in his services. I thought he was an investment broker for the ISX. I asked him how we might be able to begin to invest in the ISX with him as our broker. Confused, because I got the email in red a day prior

Hey you were exploring a potential opportunity. Just as I was and others are. This one didn't pan out. And luckily, I believe thx to this forum, nobody got taken. He might have mistakenly misrepresented himself/his company; or maybe not.....but none of us here lost money due to a company being misrepresented on purpose or not on purpose by him.......NO SORRY NEEDED. :huge: Heck I'm still having a hard time getting a darn account opened at Warka.

Sorry guys, Hayder must have decided not to venture further with us. I also recieved the email Sumdinar recieved. I plan on calling him tonight, but it appears he only wants to share information. He still might be a good source for information on the ISX, other investments in Iraq, and starting a business if we have to.

I apologize for leading any of you on and saying he was a broker. :o When I read "to be your asset manager to run a part of your account in trading in the ISX." and "We are honored and pleased to accept your request to be your brokerage" I assumed he was a broker. I got a little over excited I guess. I'll post again with an update.
