This kid is now famous!!! They just did a story on the TODAY SHOW about this kid. I missed the interview with the guy that was making commentary on how this video has become a phenomenon on the internet.

When they went back to MATT and KATY....they were doing the head bounce thing to the music beat....like those head bounce guys on Saturday Night Live....that thought they were so cool....trying to pick up women in the bar. TOO TOO FUNNY!!

Now....the TODAY SHOW is playing the song as background music...going from one segment to another. I tried to find a link on www.today.msnbc.com (http://www.today.msnbc.com) but they don't have the story posted yet.

FUNNY....FUNNY....FUNNY :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This is good! Worth watching. Love the tune. I have to say though, there is someone on this forum who can out-do this guy. Hands down! :shhh:

Oh, it's not me ... however, my 11 year old niece told me I was the "coolest person on this planet" when she caught me lip-synching and playing the "drums" yesterday. :lmao:

Yes, Fomoco ... I spelled it right. It's in the dictionary, my friend.

karaoke is my forte!! No lip-synching for me...however I think I would have to give it a try if it got me on national TV!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

but the song has soared to the #1 spot in 27 countries!!! Who woulda thunk? Now the Romanian dance song has been translated to English and the guys were on the TODAY show singing it.
Gary Brolsma, 19, of Saddle Brook, N.J., has become a cyber-celebrity in just a few short weeks.

They are calling it the NUMA NUMA song or MAI MAI song.

Featured Thursday, February 17, 2005 on NBC’s “Today” show, the video has already gotten more than a million hits on one Web site, according to one report. On MSNBC.com, “searches for this kid absolutely dominate our site search today,” according to producer Will Femia.

How crazy is this?? The song is really rather addicitng and has a wonderful dance beat.
