Why would Bank of America deal in the Iraqi Dinar to other banks for their currency departments but not to Bank of America customers? By the way people are talking they are supplying a good number of other banks in this currency.

I went to B o A in North Richland Hills,Texas Their foriegn currency book shows the dinar as tradeable, However, a call to the national foriegn trade department resulted in a "not trading at this time" Oh well, I tried.

I have read about BOA in several posts saying they deal the dinar.
Which BOA's do?
I can't find them. If you know of one please post.

I think B.O.A. and Chase teamed up on this investment, chase has been international cougar on most overseas banking, and prob did not want to look to U.S. at the time as making money off the war.
JMO) they were sharing the risk.
they hooked up with Boa to buy, and made a pact to not sell only to Chase.
Chase was the first and only bank here in TX that I know of that sells the dinars.
take a peek at what chase bank does and who are the top dogs.
This has been discussed in other threads, so if you look up chase bank on the IIF forums you will find a lot of info.

Went to BofA in my area. They looked up to see if the dinar was traded (probably FOREX), said it was not and therefore I cannot buy it from BofA. Wondering if I should press the issue with the bank manager.
