Iran Military Confirms Explosion Was Building Work


"TEHRAN (Reuters) - An explosion in south Iran, initially reported as caused by a missile, was blasting work during the construction of a dam, a senior military officer confirmed to state television on Wednesday."

I suppose if it was Israel ir the USA it would have been many missiles.Shock and Awe type.
There is some speculation they shot down a spy drone, or shot at it and the round came back down..

Who knows really. Fuel tank, drone, construction...but probably not a missle.

the US surrounding them and so much political dissent with their common people below the mullahs?

I personally think they shot at our drone and the round or the drone came back down on them.

CNN is now saying it was Seismic testing for oil. We will probably never know the exact cause.

My conspiracy theory --- it was an Iraq military plane, they "tagged" one of the insurgent supply truck convoys---since Iraq was a neighbor the Iranian government decided to let it go.....reckon they are sending their own message to Iran? We now have Iraqi pilots with capabilities and with the location of this incident it wouldn't surprise me. it happened in the deep southwestern corner of Iran.
