The Current leadership in both Houses of the United States Congress, has passed Bills to limited funding for Military/Security Operations in Iraq for 2008, the President has stated he will Veto the Bill. Will the current leadership in congress stop economic support for Iraq? Can Iraq continue as a organized National State without United States funding/support?
A increasing number of Congressional Chairman and Chairwomen may required President Bush to tie funding to pull out of United States Troops in Iraq, which he states he will never do, will congress stop funding for the War?
I observed the same type of action by the United States Congess, during the end of the Vietnam War.

NO, Iraq can not survive without our help.As long as George W. Bush is president, they will get our help. He will veto these rediculous bills. However, if a democrat is elected in 08 (heaven forbid), it will be just like Vietnam. The only differance will be-Vietnam came out fine-after several million were killed there and Cambodia (pol pot). Iraq will not be as lucky-oh,there will be mass slaughter, but we (US)will pay dearly-on our soil. This is something those knee-jerk liberals in congress just dont understand.

Agreed. Damn Dems are doing all of this to appeal to their hardcore liberal base which makes up only about 10% or less of the general population. It's a shame that their so beholden to the wacko leftist blog nazis that our troops are getting no consideration whatsoever. Pelosi didn't even show up for Petraeus' meeting w/congress - Too busy planning her trip to Iran to kiss a##....

The Democratic Leadership is crying about Durfar and the Ten of Thousands who may die, in the Sudan's genocile (also caused by Islamic Arab Leaders) but if they forced the United States into fleeing from Iraq, you will see millions killed in a new Iraqi genocile. You will see a Islamic State which will support terror worldwide.
Why is support for Durfar, OK and support for Iraq is wrong?
The Iraq government must RV very very soon, or it will be to late, the Window is closing for this government.

Friday: Senator Reid, Democratic Leader of the Senate, states that we should start removing troop from Iraq, that the War is a failure. Should President Bush Veto the current Bill requiring United States Military forces to pull out of Iraq in about a year, they (Democratics in Congress) will start investigation into the funding/operation of the war.
This is same type of game the Democratic Congress used to stop support for the Vietnam War in the 1970's.
Democratic leaders also stated that they wish to see who is making money from this War.
