Looking for 4 more players in a 6 team league while we wait for our dinars to mature.
FIRST OFF, IT'S FREE!
SIMPLE FORMAT: Head to Head (not Rotisserie) League in Yahoo.
Live Draft - date and time to be determined by everyone's availability. We draft from the MLB pool (a baseball player can only be on one team). Lots of flexibility and plenty of free agents available (about 60-70% of the league) because our fantasy league will be small. You can also trade players if you like. The draft is alot of fun.
Head to Head means your team competes against another team for the whole week. The team that wins a stat category will get a win and the other team will get a loss. There will be approx 20 stat categories (ie Runs, Hits, HRs, RBIs, Avg, Wins, ERA, etc.).
Example:
Team A played against Team B in Week One
At the end of the week, Team A accumulated better stats in 12 of the 20 stat categories.
Team A gets 12 wins and 8 losses
Team B gets 8 wins and 12 losses
Schedule will rotate each week.
Standings will be based on won and loss records (of course).
VERY USER FRIENDLY: Scoring is automated (updated daily) and real time scoring feature (StatTracker - $9.95 for the season). Not much advantage in getting it, but it will give you ulcers if your as obsessive-compulsive as I am.
and your lineups can be pre-selected (set it - forget it) for the week, month, even season or you can make changes it up to 5 minutes before any game. This means you don't have to be very active to participate, but being active means you may have a better chance of winning. The site is up 24 hours a day.
WE ALL HAVE FUN: All teams make the playoffs. The 4th place team (not me) in my league last year won the championship, :happy64:
