I've been reading this forum for a while now and have never posted anything. But now i have a question that maybe someone here can answer. Since 60% of the population of Iraq is Shia and the GOI is dominetly Shia what is the chance that the GOI (IF secretly being backed by Iran) are just toying with us. Could they just be using the U.S. to get their military built up. Drain us for every dollar they can get, then show their true colors by supporting Iran once we lose patience and pull out. The GOI will blame the U.S. for leaving them,then say they had no choice but to stand with Iran for strength against the Sunni insurgency. What do you think? :confused:
