The "push" is on. I don't think the GOI will take a vacation during July and August.
....our new strategy is to help the new struggling Iraqi government, who is under attack from extremists and radicals, to help provide security for their people to get control of their capital, to take advantage of partnerships with local tribes, and go after Al-Quida in places like Anbar. We are sending five reinforcement brigades to Baghdad - expect more heavy fighting in the next few months. Went on to speak about immigration.

You mean he went on to talk about selling out the US with his Amnesty bill.
What a sell out.

Yea they can, after all the important laws are passed by the parliament.

Well, actually, the amnesty bill was not approved. They are going to reinforce the borders. I guess he gave in to this issue to protect the backing of Iraq.

If it was Bill Clinton and he was receiving BJ's in the oval office, all you harpy's would be condemning him to death. Right?? The difference is Bush is the "war time" president. Funny, I didnt put him in that position.

Yup....and if you read the bill close Bush has pretty much dropped this mess in the next presidents lap because it won't be really enforceable for a few years yet.
Bush has cemented his legacy as the biggest imbecile to ever sleep in the White House. And I'm a republican.
I just hope this gets squashed.

I deal with Mexicans every single day in my business and real-estate dealings in Mexico. Muy inteligente.. They are neither stupid nor lazy. They take the jobs they need for now, and use the system to their advantage, and they have no regard for the dumb Americans they are "displacing". Its all about the buck. I dont blame them for anything. I blame Republicans as they assume that our country needs them, or they would have sent in the National Guard and built the walls up the day they hit office 7 years ago.

It doesnt matter, they are here, they will stay until Mexico pays more than 5 dollars a day as a minimum wage, and who the hell wants to pick strawberries anyway?? Unfortunately you are right, many illegals and legal aliens see oppression, are strong, and become gang-sympathisers looking for the BIG DINERO. The future is en fuego.. with this policy. Much of the west will be unliveable for white-bread types who cannot adapt to the Mexicans coming in with printed invitations from our government.

My issue here is that we (America) always seem to come out on the raw end of the deal.
Give them freedom, liberty, rights, ect.. Just give me the same rights in their country.
You are in real estate, you know what a joke it is for a foreigner to own land in Mexico.

Its not a joke, its a 50 year lease-ownership (called a fideicomiso). And in the Puerto Vallarta and Playa del Carmen areas, its HUGH! The Japs are in on the profiteering right now, and you know what they say about that. Check it out. There are pre-sale condos right now that should easily triple in a 2-3 year period. You have all the advantages of full ownership, (ie. live, give, or sell.) I figure if we are opening the floodgates of immigration here in the USA, why not go there. Remember, Mexicans in Mexico who thrive and feel no need to emmigrate to the USA are some of the greatest people in the world.

Blindly touting that President Bush is a good President is a bit sheepish no? You must be reading from the wonk republican play book. Like I said I am a republican and I support our troops but Bush is a imbecile and definitely one of the worst Presidents ever in the history of the US.
Baaaaaahhhh
Name a few accomplishments he has pulled off since taking office here I'll start you out....
1. Handling of the 911 attack
2. Tax cuts
3. ?????????
Exactly what has he done for us right here at home in the past 7 years?
Do you like his new amnesty bill he is pushing? That is very conservative of him. LOL

The amnesty bill is a nice idea on paper. Keeping track of undocumented aliens a little better. But do you think the fly by nighters crossing the border to work for a couple of months picking spinach will actually abide? No way Jose. (or Juan, or Manuel)

If thats what conservatives believe thats fine. It must give you all great comfort to have voted in an arrogant moron who's daddy's influence got him where he is today. Barely got thru Yale, barely got thru the air national guard, and was a failure in the oil business. Bragging rights for sure.
