Baghdad (newsletter). Member of the Finance Committee suggested MP//Abdul Hussein Al-yasiri, the increased number of companies contributing to the Iraq market for securities through mixed and limited companies to support financial market activity.

He said Al-yasiri (News Agency): the Iraq stock exchange market absorbs only companies which are currently on the market (2000) and the number of credits traded limiter (4) billion Iraqi dinar, noting that little people is worth something for Financial markets in neighboring countries.

He added that the Securities Commission allow companies and limited entry into the stock market for the purpose of increasing the number of joint-stock companies and increasing the amount of shares traded, to support Iraqi financial market activity.

Shayla noted: the need to amend the companies act for encourages joint venture company for individual transformation into joint stock companies to encourage them to enter the market in Iraq.

The observers that the Iraq market for securities, despite continuous updates work but its still limited in terms of the number of firms and the lack of traded shares, as well as a decline in the stock of foreign buyers (non-Iraqi). /finished/8 l. Eng.
