I too am new to the dong, was wonder where to get some. Also, where would I cash it in when (If) if revalues. With the dinar a lot of people speculate that Iraq could support a revalue up to $0.05 - $0.30 any speculation on where they may take the dong to?

Been looking to make my own purchase. My concern is, the size of the denoms out there. 500,000 is huge! Does anyone think this is a concern or wouldn't it matter? Should I/we get smaller if possible? Thanks

Wells Fargo has been the most resonably piced and that should be where you can cash it in after RV. You might have to open an account with them, then just go on line and order.

The main reason I like to deal on ebay is you have your choice of notes, and you can watch several auctions and bid or not.
My best deals have always been around holidays when many folks are not paying attention.

Sorry, nammoney is running short of DONG. He can't service people right at the moment until his dong is replenished. Will check back in a couple days and see how the dong is hanging.

USD

Paid through Paypal - cost me about £205 GBP with the exchange rate

the poly notes are circulated but look 99% - only one or two creases.

Product of Australia ! (the polymers)

You did good.... it's just there's an Aussie based dong seller new to the scene... little feedback... had a bad rep with another username... but I knew he wasn't listing 4M.

I caught my daughter attempting to CUT a polymer to fit her toy cash register today !! Must invest in more toy money... NZ dollars :)

Perhaps someone can help. I opened an acct. with Wells Fargo now I have to wait another to weeks (a total of 30 days) to purchase Dong. The woman I called questioned me as to if I was sure I wanted to do that. She said that when it revalues like Turkey did new currency will be issued and it will not be worth the same amount as the new currency. This may be a very basic question but it threw me for a loop.

Sounds to me like a partial truth.

Yes, they may issue new denoms, but they will withdraw the larger notes as they come in, and so they won't decrease in value so much as they will just be taken out of circulation.

They're economically stepping into the global scene and to do otherwise would just discourage investment, IMHO.
