the way i looked at it: If there is 60% chance of rain????? well, its gonna rain.

there are 60% who like it--and the rest will once they are educated on what i means for their future.

i disregard polls - how many people voted .... 10?

larger numbers bring % back in line. AOL is famous for high lighting stories similiar to this: 60% of people think Pres. Bush is not handling Iraq situation properly or hate Kerry or pick your story

small print disclaimer only 1400 persons were polled

not only limited number polled , but where persons were polled can skew %'s also..

"Figures don't lie. But liars figure." :D

Meaning the numbers can be manupulated to anything you want. And if you limit your target audience you can really skew the numbers. I hated statistics class for this very reason. I can always justify why my answer could be the "most" correct out of bull sh*t reasoning.

I just polled everyone in my house and 100% of the people agree with my position. (I am the only one here right now)

LOL
