Looks like the banks will gobble up all the notes. Article said 99%, understandably so, they need to invest in something to generate money....

I believe they will be available for purchase from one of the Iraq Banks in a few months for foreign investors. They're a good investment.

Will someone give me a good education on the idea of the T-BIlls? I don't really know anything about it, but have been hearing over and over how good an investment it is. Deatials please

T-Bills are basically government notes. The gov't takes a loan form the people at a set interest rate (8-10%). The money raised by issuing these bills will be used to pay down the Iraq National Debt. and strengthen the Dinar value. They mature in a set amount of time (90 days). They are a good investment because they are usually backed by the government.

Ok, then how do we go about investing in Tbills? Are we buying them in dinars or US dollars? more info... keep it coming please :)

You will be able to purchase them from the bank in a few months. I'm not sure which banks will carry them but I suspect it's same list we've been looking at on the CPA website.
