The new oil law to the Parliament Act Iraqi oil before the new Iraqi Parliament asked the Iraqi Ministry of Oil from the Iraqi parliament to start discussing a draft bill governing the distribution of oil revenue from the oil resources of Iraq. The request comes the Iraqi oil ministry amid claims that the administration of President George W. Bush's Iraqi Parliament expedite steps to realize this important legislation. The Ministry hopes to begin Iraqi Parliament to discuss the draft in the coming days, according to ministry spokesman Assem Jihad. Although Iraqi Oil Minister Hussein Shahrastani out of the country on an official visit to China, accompanied by President Jalal Talabani, the parliament can begin to discuss the law before the return of the minister, according to what he said Assem. I thought they postponed the Oil summit? What a bunch of schlemiels, figures they would try to take credit for the Oil summit, despite not taking place yet, simply because they "organized it" but didn't actually *DO* it on time. Or are they instead referring to some kind of committee that was formed in April to begin working on the HCL?

Parliament met for a run down of the HCL in Dubai in April. Remember the May 1 era RV rumours... IQD and dong !! CBI site went nuts when 0.19 brightened the darkest hearts, hard to log onto IIF, record people on the site...

Well it seems this was when the Kurds torpedoed that version of the law.

Now they're happy, have had a fair say (big I'd suggest) in re-writing this version of a draft, and here we go again !
