Just looking through some old emails today. I've counted 10 responses from 8/23/05 to 9/24/04 from Warka (R)

These are questions of account setup and multiple wire transfers.

What Happened ?

I consider myself among the lucky few if I get 1 email answered. I think the hotmail.com email was better

Chaka, if this one's not on your list, would you please consider adding when able to connect:

Website strength, meaning, when will warka have a fully operational website for logging into warka accounts, transferring funds between accounts (USD-NID-USD), trading on the ISX. Perhaps in a nutshell, ability to access our own funds i/o email correspondence?

Thank in advance!

I had been trying for over two months just to get a bank statement and finally, after sending an email at 4:53AM Eastern, recieved an apology and response at 5:43AM. After two months a 50 min turn around?
Lets hope that this message does indicate a quicker response.

Dear Mr. ******** ,

I emailed all of my application information and attachments 12 days ago to the Warka hotmail account address, to open an account. I followed the information from the thread on this forum. I have heard nothing back, what are people recently experiencing for a delay on this? Should I have used the Warka e-mail address?

Do you know yet whether the dinars were deposited into your account?
Did you send your FEDEX to Miss R's attention?

I was considering doing the same. Do you feel comfortable doing a higher amount.

Did you insure the parcel with FEDEX ?

Thanks C.O JONES for your post. I find her efforts to be "beyond the call of duty".

Miss R just called me. My timezone is 12 hours behind Baghdad, so Miss R called me at 8:30 p.m. Baghdad time.

Miss R's voice was tired.

I was the first to FedEx to WIB. I included an envelope and a filled-in airbill with my address so WIB would send my account numbers.
Evidently, I may not have not put my FedEx account number on the FedEx airbill.
Miss R had my airbill in her hand and could not see the account number and I don't have an airbill to describe the location of the account number.

I have not received my account numbers because WIB should not pay the FedEx charges.

Miss R said she had tried to call many times but could not get out. To me, that means the phone system is still limited.
Obviously, Miss R waited until late in the evening to get an overseas connection to call me.

The telephone call at 8:30 p.m. is service that well above and beyond. I never expected such effort and concern.

Miss R told me my account numbers and the tracking number of the return airbill.

Today, I will go to FedEx and and get some airbills and envelopes. I will email my FedEx account number and notify her that I will wire extra USD to pay for the telephone call I just received. I don't think WIB should pay for a phone call to address my error.

Other IIF members have posted that 10-11 a.m. Baghdad time is the best time to email, so I will email l0-11 p.m. my time.

I am in the ranks of the many who respect and appreciate Miss R.

I do not know what it would be like to be in the working and living conditions she and her family are in.
I do understand her commitment and professionalism are at the highest level.

Thank you Miss R.

I have also email my documentation to Ms R, about 2 weeks and I have not heard back from anyone as of yet.

Please, if anyone has a thought on these two questions:
1) Would it be better to Fed X my documentation to Ms R?
2) Does anyone know of another financial institution in Irag that is also seeking to open foreign new account holders like Warka.

Also, it seems Warka has really gone after this business and it appears now that they are too busy, which is great for them, but for us, not so good.
Thanks
Kevin

i sent 100k and i still dont feel safe sending like 500k or more... there is a lot of trust there. i dont know how many people could have the chance to get it. i did insure it but not as money i said it was a book valued at 500. as i have such a book.

I do not mean to lock up the keg for this party, but is shipping dinar legal? I am not sure that is why I am asking.

My point of this is if it is not legal then I would use fewer specifics on the open forum, since FedEx and others are under the watchful eye of many government agencies including the homeland security.

I have not heard any action in the works for this situation which is great for dinar holders like myself. :happy64:

Also as for shipping and insurance for these things, I would not insure it very high because "documents" are usually worthless so an envelope full of documents with lots of insurance could throw a red flag for the customs agents.
Thanks, and as usual just my 2cents.

I would use extra tape on the envelop flap to ensure that it does not open because it can pop open when they are over stuffed in general.

The package probably only gets touched by 4 or 5 people before it leaves the U.S.

Do not get me wrong, I was just making a reference when people start sending millions in 5000 notes over. :lmao: Anyway I could talk more about the technology of FDX and how things are shared with the U.S. gov, but that is really not part of the topic.

Also I would not be too worried about it to begin with because there has been no interest from the gov. about stopping such shipments at this point in time.

Keep up the hard work everyone seems to have wonderful experiences to share.

I've sent 7 US$ deposits to Warka on a regular monthly basis, since September and I'd like to keep sending deposits, but lately I've been having reservations of having my deposits credited to my dinar account ( I have NO concerns of the solidity of Warka )

It seems that over time, my deposits have been taken longer and LONG..ER to see them in my IQD account. Like everyone else... I hate to wait for that reply that its credited.

I've seen the CBI auctions limited to Warka and I've said before that is my opinion as why it's been taking longer. I believe I have a nice reserve in Warka and wouldn't mind stop sending deposits.

Also lately... I've been thinking that the CBI can value the dinar INSIDE Iraq ONLY ! , before it debuts on the forex.

I'd like to hear in anyone has concerns about sending deposits to their account at this time ?

I’ve had some difficulty receiving account information from WIB via FedEx.
Received an email from WIB within the last 2 hours. Below the WIB email is my email sent to WIB yesterday.
Now, gotta raid the cookie jar to fund the accounts.

Also, I can understand someone not showing up for work in a war-torn country.
I don’t have a clue about the pressures and dangers these folks face every day.
It must be an unrelenting emotional and physical drain.

Tacmedic8, thank you for taking time and offering to help.

Subject: FedEx our account information
Importance: High

Dear Mrs. F,

I hope this email finds your family and you in good health and safe.

This is a follow-up email requesting accounts information and bank books for C.O. Jones, C.O. Jones III, Daughter Jones and Younger Jones.

I FedExed Younger Jones’ application with a filled-in return FedEx International Air Waybill and FedEx envelope to ship the above documents to me. Warka Bank received on May 22, 2005.
The waybill has my FedEx account number, all FedEx charges will be paid by me.

I have been checking the tracking number of the return waybill.

It has not left Warka Bank yet.

I am anxiously waiting so we can wire funds to our accounts.

Could you please email me as to why there is a delay in FedExing our account information to me?

In case there is difficulty in FedExing, I have requested assistance from another Investor's Iraq Forum member, Mr. T. He may contact the bank for our bank books. If WIB will not FedEx, please give him our bank books.

Thank you,

C.O. Jones C.O. or Admin please change to Miss F. / Remember everyone our rule on NOT POSTING NAMES for security purposes!! Thanks All, -F- :D
