U.S.: Iran using Hezbollah in Iraq fight

BAGHDAD - Iran is using the Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah as a "proxy" to arm Shiite militants in Iraq and Tehran's Quds force had prior knowledge of a January attack in Karbala in which five Americans died, a U.S. general said Monday.
U.S. military spokesman Brig. Gen. Kevin J. Bergner said a senior Lebanese Hezbollah operative, Ali Mussa Dakdouk, was captured March 20 in southern Iraq. Bergner said Dakdouk served for 24 years in Hezbollah and was "working in Iraq as a surrogate for the Iranian Quds force."
The general also said that Dakdouk was a liaison between the Iranians and a breakaway Shiite group led by Qais al-Kazaali, a former spokesman for cleric Muqtada al-Sadr. Bergner said al-Kazaali's group carried out the January attack against a provincial government building in Karbala and that the Iranians assisted in preparations.

Legal way: Iraq should pass a universal law indicating that if someone is caught fomenting violence within Iraqi borders and is from another country, a trial will be held. If that person is deemed guilty by a court of law, they will be executed. Time to start hanging Quds operatives...and soon

"Not so" legal way: Old West kanagaroo courts in which operatives from other countries caught within borders of Iraq are prosecuted (with no legal representation of their own) and executed by beheading. Then we send Iraqi operatives (Sunnis) into Iran to burn gas stations and start fomenting violence against the government's fuel rationing program - also to blow up their one and only refinery. Then finally, black ops to assasinate Mahmoud Ahm-a-nut-job

I think Iran knows that Iraq IS going to become a better, more prosperous country with real happy people someday soon. We all know they are behind some of the insurgency, but I think what is really going on here is so surreal that you must ponder it for a moment. They actually WANT the US to step in and kick their asses so they can have the same shot at democracy and prosperity that Iraq has. They know that the US will not pound on them unless they keep poking around the hive with the stick until POW! It's either that or they are just idiots...either works for me :D !
