International oil exports commenced in Iraqi Kurdistan, defying Baghdad’s disapproval

Iraqi autonomous region Kurdistan has started selling its oil into international markets in independent export deals that further challenge Baghdad's claim to full control over Iraqi oil after first signing independent exploration deals with foreign oil majors last year. Definitely, this move from the Kurdistan regional government will not please Baghdad. But major oil companies, including Exxon are interested in working into the Kurdish region for long term.
