Iraqi National Assembly Meeting Postponed, Cabinet Formation Talks 'Underway'

Al-Jazirah has learned that the meeting of the Iraqi National Assembly that was scheduled for tomorrow [26 March] has been postponed. Meanwhile, talks are underway between the Unified Iraqi Coalition and the Kurdistan Coalition lists for an agreement on the distribution of the presidential council posts and the new government portfolios. For his part, outgoing Prime Minister Iyad Allawi has called for reaching an agreement quickly, especially because two months have passed since the elections were held in Iraq.
