I was just wondering if anyone participated in the investing of the Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) during the 1st Gulf War?
1) How much was 1 KWD worth against 1 USD?
2) Is there a timeline anywhere that shows how fast or slow it took for the KWD to go up in value?
3) I see that after the liberation of Kuwait in 1991, that on 24 March 1991 Kuwait issued a fourth series of Kuwaiti banknotes and on 3 April 1994 a fifth series of Kuwaiti banknotes were issued. During the reissuing of the KWD through all of these years, did you cash in before the reissuing of the new KWD or did you exchange your old KWD for the new KWD and sit on it a little longer?
4) Did you go through a broker to cash in, or did you go to an International Bank?
5) How did you here about the investment opportunity? The internet wasn't as big in the 90's; just curious to see how everyone found out about it.
6) Did you tell others about it, and did they laugh?
