The Higher Commission at Iraq Ministry of Industry launched a campaign to highlight the investments opportunities in Iraq for both the local and foreign investors.
An official source at the commission said that the ministry had already adopted the system of 'one window' where foreign investors can finalize all the needed procedures to launch their activities in Iraq.
"Through that system investors can register their companies and find representatives of most Iraq ministries to get approvals for his projects," the source said.
The campaign will also highlight the role of Iraq's private sector.
On another development, a seminar was held in Baghdad where bankers and Iraqi businessmen discussed means of promoting their cooperation and the role of Iraq's central bank in supporting the country's private sector.
Participants at the seminar called upon the central bank to form a special committee to study the private sector's projects and means to facilitate loans and other banking procedures.
