This woman should run for president

Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like it! This is one ticked off lady.

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia .

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-you guessed it-I don't care !!

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add:

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem." -- Ronald Reagan

I have another quote that I would like to add AND.......I hope you forward all this.

"If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under." Also by.. Ronald Reagan

One last thought for the day:

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the Anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America, he said: "A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out."

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET BOTH OF THEM.
AMEN!

But in case you do, here is my main problem with it:
You talk about basically torturing suspected terrorists. And at the same time you call yourselves a free country. In England (Remember the good old days when you were a part of the Empire) we have something called a court, a justice system and Innocent untill proven guilty. Not innocent untill you admit just to stop the pain.

I'm sure the Iraqi's, Afgahnistani's, Guantanamo Bay prisoners will all start to care when you

Wow, Mike, I haven't seen this hateful attitude from you towards my beloved country and people before in any of your comments. As for this women's comments (this thread), I agree with her 100%. We, sir , are in WAR. And that means we do not mess around as we have been messed with. All war prisoners deserve squat, IMHO. Basic food & water, not a thing else. All prisoners in my country deserve the same; fence a large area in the Mojave Desert with tents and cots, big soccer field or pile of rocks for exercise, basic food & water, absolutely no TV or Internet, and do hard time, long hard time. Seems so plain & simple to me.

Your kidding right, HAHAHAHA! Have you bothered to check out your own history mate. Your country has committed so many harsh acts we seem to pale in comparison.

If you have a problem with America I am fine with that, but remember when we go to war we generally go to liberate not take over. I believe if you look into your glorius history you will see a little different approach. I do not want our country to stand by and do nothing to those who commit grevious acts against us and our so called allies. We have shown weakness in the past and we see were this has gotten us. I say no more! we stand and fight and defeat these extremist now so our children will not have to do this for us in the future. I have been to England very beautiful place and the people were very nice, but comments like this show ignorance to the situation at hand.

You Brits, beautiful accent, but some of you must really have arrogant, pompous heads full of shiite. Moreover, yes, I mean this to be offensive. You should change your name to Chamberlain, what a loser.

And here is the reason. Who said the following?

Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors.

Their purpose is to protect the national interest of the United States, and indeed the interests of people throughout the Middle East and around the world.

Saddam Hussein must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas, or biological weapons.

I want to explain why I have decided, with the unanimous recommendation of my national security team, to use force in Iraq;
why we have acted now; and what we aim to accomplish.

Six weeks ago, Saddam Hussein announced that he would no longer cooperate with the United Nations weapons inspectors called UNSCOM. They are highly professional experts from dozens of countries. Their job is to oversee the elimination of Iraq's capability to retain, create, and use weapons of mass destruction, and to verify that Iraq does not attempt to rebuild that capability. The inspectors undertook this mission first 7
1/2 years ago at the end of the Gulf War when Iraq agreed to
declare and destroy its arsenal as a condition of the ceasefire.

The international community had good reason to set this requirement.

Other countries possess weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles. With Saddam, there is one big difference: He has used them. Not once, but repeatedly.

Unleashing chemical weapons against Iranian troops during a decade-long war. Not only against soldiers, but against civilians, firing Scud missiles at the citizens of Israel, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Iran. And not only against a foreign enemy, but even against his own people, gassing Kurdish civilians in Northern Iraq.

The international community had little doubt then, and I have no doubt today, that left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will use these terrible weapons again.

Here is a clue, it was an American president, but not GBW.

The article is titled:

President Clinton explains Iraq strike - December 16, 1998

You wanna link, here is the pbs.org link for the full transcript

http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/middle_east/july-dec98/clinton_12-16.html (http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/middle_east/july-dec98/clinton_12-16.html)

So the next time you want to utter anything about GWB lying about WMD, either you tell me how Clinton knew Iraq had WMDs, but when GWB became president, there were no longer WMD, or else you are one filthy liar.

Are you offended... YES, I DO CARE, SO STOP YOUR FILTHY @#%* LYING!!!

Mike,

Americans do care about what the rest of the world thinks of us. We also know that you can not always make everyone happy. You see, you have to piss some people off in order to make things work. America's job is not to make everyone in this world (including you) happy. America and the brave men and women boys and girls who do the dirty work with their lives on the line, knows that there are people in this world who will be tken advantage off by the bullies if someone doesn't help them. This is a messy thing, but we didn't start it.

Ask yourself this question:

If everywhere in the world there were peace and everyone were nice to each other, do you think America would just go looking to kill people?

If you answer yes, you are one of those who we can not make happy.

Also, I am not in any way trying to say that I have fought for America. I have not but I respect those who do. They are my heros.

WOW MT really stirred up the hornets nest. Know this MT, I served in the 1st Gulf war and met many fine members of "your countries Military". They believed in the same cause I did. I am sure your mates over there now are on the same page as the Americans my friend. You really should support your own people as they are the ones with their lives on the line, just as I support my fellow Marines who are near and dear to my heart. Also the entire military which is allowing this investment to be even possible.

Mike Taylor has his right to criticize US Foreign Policy.

Brits criticize Tony Blair for being "W"'s puppet, instead of being a great speaker and leader.

Its not like they have terrorist acts going on in the UK..............

Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslim.

Fighting communism and oppresion is what the US Military does.

There has been one military attack on US soil, and we dropped two nukes to settle down the Japanese.

Terrorist attacks will not stop until there are no more terrorists - or when everyone is an Allah fearing Muslim.

Which do you think will happen first?

I don't care for this email.
Americans wonder why the rest of the world thinks they're arrogant and selfish! Its staringly obviuos to me, but then I am part of 'the rest of the world' to you, so I guess you don't care about me either.

I also bet that if our counrty pulles out of this war and we are attacked YOU WOULD BE THE FIRST TO CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS.
