Under the headline, 'New rules to dialogue with 28 armed groups, reconciliation meeting in November,' the newspaper quoted unidentified sources as revealing the Iraqi government's intention to negotiate with 28 armed factions as part of its national reconciliation project. "A meeting will be held in November 2007 between a committee of parliamentarians and government representatives and opposition groups in a neighboring country under the auspices of a U.S.-Italian organization," the newspaper quoted MP Wail Abdul Latif from the Iraqi National Slate as saying.
