WASHINGTON: The US House of Representatives on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly to bar permanent US military bases in Iraq, in the latest bid by Democrats to trim White House options on the war.

After seeing all the work done at LSA Anaconda during 04 when I was there, I find it amazing that all that money would go to waste.

I see this as highly unlikely.
