Agility Defense and Government Services (DGS), formerly PWC Logistics, today announced that it has been awarded a three-year contract by the U.S. Department of the Army to provide logistics services to Coalition and Iraqi military and police camps throughout Iraq.

The potential maximum value of this indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract is $345 million over a three-year period.

Agility DGS will provide end-to-end logistics support services including billeting, motor pool operations, dining operations and medical support to Coalition camps and Iraqi police and military camps, each supporting up to 10,000 personnel per location.

"Agility is proud to expand its role in supporting the U.S. Army through a growing number of large-scale programs and increasingly important programs," Chief Executive Officer of Agility DGS Toby Switzer said. "For the Omnibus Life Support contract, we will serve as a vital link for the Coalition and Iraqi militaries and Iraqi police forces, and we are pleased to offer the flexibility and broad capabilities of the extensive Agility logistics network throughout the region."

That was my point exactly. Three year contract on a war that is suppose to be over any time. Yeah right.
Might go with you loggies if the 2nd doesn't pan out as expected.

Man...we got 40 year leases on some of those FOBs at a monthly lease rate you would NOT believe!

I have seen the cash and the "Sheiks" that receive it!

You may want to rethink that Howler. It is my understanding that PWC lost the contract because of their "safety" rating. The word I got is that they were getting the trucks shot out from under them and were unwilling to provide any "armor" to prevent this.

It is something we were discussing here last week and then yesterday I saw the article.....

Perhaps they changed ownership or something...I'm not too sure.

Absolutely correct! PWC Logistics lost contracts due to “safety” rating; they do not provide armor for any of their trucks. Trucks drivers are given a Kevlar helmet and Kevlar vest, that is all the protection they are going to get. I was with them from July 2004 – July 2006 @ Biap, I made many trips to the morgue at the airfield across Camp Striker. Same people still running the company. “Toby Switzer”

Not that I would be going outside the wire, but KBR did no better for their drivers. The first 2 years I was over there the drivers had nothing more than battle rattle (kevlar, and vest). Then they got "up armored" trucks that the drivers said do no better to protect them from IED's. Still stacked sand bags on the floor boards to protect them from the road side bombs.
Like I said I am a loggie (logistics specialist) had plenty of close calls, but still inside the wire.
