In the 1990's, when Iraq was a leader in its region, for every 1 Iraqi Dinar you exchanged was worth an outstanding $3.20 USD (U.S. Dollar). At that exchange rate the new 25,000 Dinar Note would have been worth $80,000.00 USD!
Since Saddam's capture Iraq's economy has nearly doubled in value, so in many investors eyes the Iraqi Dinar will only rise in value as well. As we all know, Iraq floats over a lake of oil and its reserves are sufficient to feed the worlds need for decades to come. We too, like so many other forward-thinking investors believe that there is great potential for this country to expand, and invite you to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with us.
The US treasury has a strong dinar policy and is working with the new Iraqi Government to reinstate a strong decentralized banking system in Iraq. By December 2004 there will be six Western Banks in Iraq and six Iraqi Banks outside Iraq in operation. In March, three banks were given licence to operate in Iraq, National Bank of Kuwait, HSBC Bank and Charter bank of England. An estimated 33 billion dollars have already been collected for the process of reconstruction of Iraq, and companies like Coca-Cola, Chevron, Texaco, Alabama Blount4 Inc., are investing! :happy64: :happy64:

Was reading an article in the front page of the USA Today...on the inside talks about life in Iraq...About the Restaraunt Industry...say an Average Meal cost around 6-9$ UDS...Says a cook makes an avg of 600USD a month..Says only the wealthy can afford to dine..Says that its hard to keep a cook cause some of them are tepmted by joing the securtiy forces for more pay....restaruants are failing and closing up over there except the exceptional few...So anyhow if the avg iraqi is making an avg $600 a month USD that almost close to a million dinar....so how can we expect to see the dinar worth so much??? Any thoughts on this??? With that said is my 2 million dinar realy worth anything other than a 2 month Iraqi salary??? What are the cost of normal every day items for those that cant go out and eat??? I am no economist..but found this atricle interesting...was in this past Fri/Sat/Sun weekend edition of the USA Today Front page...I belive 12a Dave
