When you ask a liberal about how Al Gore can justify living in a mansion with a $1500 / mo energy bill, WHILE THE EARTH IS LITERALLY ON THE VERGE OF BEING DESTROYED, they will often say something like "well, Al Gore does so much good to fight global warming, that its OK if he uses lots of resources".

So, if we follow the logic....

If you help do a litter clean up on the weekend, then you can throw your trash out your car window every now and then!

Has the world gone mad??? The idea that we could actually change global weather patterns with our tiny emissions is insane. Look up how much carbon is emitted every year by the ocean, or how about every time a volcano erupts!? It's total arrogance on our parts to think we could effect such a large and adaptive system! Besides, carbon is NATURAL! The UN of all placed released a study saying COWS FARTING causes more greenhouse gasses than our cars! Anyone remember the big CFC scare back in the 90's??? Now the UN is saying CFC actually act to COOL the earth! So I guess we should all do our part and use more hairspray! Socialists have so far failed to totally convert our economic system over to their system of shared misery, so they try to pawn some "Global crisis" off on the American people so we have to accept their draconian measures. Thats all this is! Scientific research is always biased when SCIENTISTS who are HUMAN conduct the research. These people need money too, and when a left leaning politician wants them to say certain things some of them are more than happy to do it for the money. Poor people are easy to control and these carbon caps, if implemented, will make more Americans poor. Thats exactly what the socialist democrats what out of global warming, they want control.
