Just when I think I've seen it all ....

"Midlevel leaders of the insurgency in Iraq are attempting to give themselves up in return for deals that would allow them to join the political system, U.S. and Iraqi officials say."

I gave a chuckle and mumbled "yea right" under my breath when I read this.

"U.S., Iraqi officials willing to listen but remain wary ..." Wary? Wary? No joke! Oh I'm sure the insurgents are saying they have Iraq in their best interest ...

I believe this "leader" is very close to getting his captured. Kinda like how Saddam wanted to negotiate from a hole in the ground.
