All the while behavior by the press like the following two stories seems to be par for the course.....

Why do these guys in the press think they can claim that they are impartial when they just make up anything they want to suit their own agenda? Gee I guess the press is full of fakes and liars, so hmm who do I trust???
Go get em General!!!

 I saw a fair bit of that TV show about the so called "Re-enactment", it was a joke and I dont mean funny Ha Ha,:puke: Hitler would have been proud of them. It is in our papers today and to be fair to the press/Dailly Mail they are really reporting the fact that the BBC showed it in the first place, the actual headlines are....'Who do you think you are kidding Mr Sweeney' which is a take of from one of our comedy shows about the home guard from WW2.

Baz, I was commenting on Sweeney's behavior. As the Press/Daily Mail was exposing Sweeney's behavior then I would be in agreement with them. Sweeney is a typical hypocrite reporter, i.e. do as I say not as I do type. I have read and seen footage of Sweeney's "WORK" before, so I do not hold him in high regard. Unfortunately, Sweeney is not unique in the press corp, neither in the U.K. or the U.S.A.
To the Press/Daily Mail I'd say good work, but I'm sure they don't mind exposing the dirt on their competitors, eh? But at least someone is exposing those member's of the press that are using it for their own propaganda tool instead of just reporting the news.

The Fourth Estate is an utter joke - were they ever anything more than opinion givers? In my mind, a journalist is a bottom feeder or someone that feeds on the misery of others - a used car salesman is leaps and bounds above them

I personally like the Stars and Stripes. Many of the articles were point blank, this is the way it is. They also print stories of all the good. Like schools being built, utilities being fixed. War is a two sided coin. One side is death and destuction. One side is the helping of the oppressed.

More and more the biased press venues are being called out on the carpet for their much less than objective reporting. I think we're starting see the worm turn. Supply and demand in a free ecconomy will determine the outcome. As fewer and fewer people subscribe to certain media venues for their information and as other venues point out the faults in their competitors sooner or later the pendulum will swing back and we'll have fair and balanced reporting again. Don't you love the power of ecconomics. :muscle: (I get this and believe me, I'm certainly not an ecconomist) Voyeur.
Do you read the Economist or the Nation or Vanity Fair or the New Yorker???
Better jounalism that the newspapers!!
