Tyred,

Did I understand this correctly:

Opening business bank accounts. Trading on the ISX as an Iraqi business owner

Does the above mean that if you own a business in Iraq you can trade on the ISX? Since you appear to have done extensive research on this topic could you expand on this? Specifically, what is considered a business in order to start training? For example, if I did a bunch of research on Iraq and put together an E-book about travel to Iraq and sold it on-line, could that be considered? I know this is a transparent attempt to get on the ISX early so please understand I am not trying to hide my intentions. If this a loophole, this would be a valuable discussion point for all of us to discuss.

Thanks.

Kuna

Hey Kuna, why dont we start a thread on this, and I will share what ive learned and from whom.

I dont know all the answers, but I can say that it is not easy to register with the Ministry of Trade, which is necessary to trade on the ISX, at least for Aman. An Iraqi address and contact seems to be essential. Bottom line, you really will have to do business in Iraq and not just pretend to.

Yes, the site is still active! :drunk: If you'd like to discuss any of your business concerns, start a thread or continue one of the old ones. I am going to add a little more to the "registration with Ministry of Trade in Iraq" thread, since I am making some headway in that now.
