Hey, how do you have consistant access to the internet? Just curious, I know it's not far fetched or anything just curious as to how you access it.

Satellite uplinks from within my chain of command on their laptops and the internet cafes in the basecamps I go to.

I picked it up on a convoy stop off of a concrete barrier just out of Samwa. The soldiers here aren't "supposed" to take them down due to the fact that some have been booby-trapped. Mine was hanging by one corner from a piece of chewing gum and didn't have any suspicions. Anyways, I got some good trading material for future use if need be.

Hey guys in Iraq just to let you know......everything you do for this country is appreciated and will not ever be forgotten. As a wife of a former soldier who is now currently in Kuwait working for a company...(not KBR) I still feel part of a military family. Our local National Guard Unit has been activated and I have been up there to see the men and their families and wish them well. They of course won't be deployed to Iraq until sometime after the first of the year after spending about 5 mos. In Ft. Hood. So you guys already there may still be there or may getting to come home.
