My Newphew (Aaron Vance) is in the field as I type this letter of grattitude for him and all the armed forces in Iraq. I am very proud of his accomplishments and am posting a link to an article written on June 2nd that describes his act of heroism as he was the only one called from his unit to climb down a hole one and a half feet wide to inspect and hand out a hord of weapons and triggering devices found under the floor of a home in mosul.
Hope you enjoy the read. http://rochsent.com/files/wilsoniraq8.html

I spent time at Diamondback and Marez last year when i was providing convoy security for the Army. Mosul is a tough place. I wish nothing but the best for your nephew and everyone else still there. God Bless everyone of them.

Tell your nephew there's at least one Marine in the world that salutes him. He should get a smile from that. And make sure he lets Sgt. Chandler know we appreciate the grit he displays as well. The mark of a true leader is one who will get right in the middle, and stay until the job is done.

I personally know several people currently serving in Iraq. I constantly tell them that I really appreciate the fact that they are fighting to protect the frontiers of freedom!
Patrick39, your nephew is a true American Hero. I will give your nephew much more respect than any movie star making these "Make Believe films"; more respect than a man shooting a basketball through a metal hoop; more respect than a man running the business I work for. Enough said!
