Anyone here like Metallica?? I just saw them last night... it was great fun (even for an old broad like me!) Only problem is, I can't hear a damn thing now except what sounds like the ocean in my ears! Otherwise it ROCKED! :happy64:

How I miss those concerts....

AC/DC, Metallica...I am not impressed with the latest bands...

I just hope there is a band when we get back to the states that is an audience filler....

Unfortunately, bands seem to have went down hill..

I got To see Metalica in Germany at an event called " Rock im Park". it was a pretty cool festival. 3 days of bands, chicks, beer and more bands.... well drugs too but that goes without saying =).
I have never been too big a metalica fan, i actually enjoyed the fear factory and monster magnet set more than i did metalica.

When I get out of this Hell Hole i aspire to go see my favorite artists... Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, Nigel Richards, Mauro Picotto... the list goes on... you're probably thinking " who the heck are THEY?!?" . Well they are DJs and I will be Journeying to Ibiza to see them.... That would be a cool island for us to buy when this Dinar takes off...

I haven't seen Metallica but I did just see Rush at Jones Beach last week. Got a little wet but the stage show was great so we stayed and dried out.
Took the kids to see Evanesence two weeks ago at Jones beach. Amy Lee was pretty good live...

well I'll use this thread to post my first post. Nice to meet everyone and Yes Metallica ROCKS!!!!!.... Sad to say though that even though they are high on my list, Sevendust, Slipknot and Static-X have all passed them though. Disturbed is awesome too. But I cant help it, i'm more new school ...since I'm only 22 but ofcourse Metallica is one of the best bands ever.........also gotta put Ozzy up there.

They do put on a good show! Godsmack opened for them - I'm burnt on them because they get too much play, but I have to admit liking their show.

I have my hearing back, but now my throat is sore and I'm losing my voice... I didn't yell at the concert, but I think all the pyro smoke and 2nd-hand reefer got to me.... LOL :p

check this out... the songs 'This is how you remind me' and 'someday' are pretty much the same damn song released a couple years apart - you'll hear one song in the right speaker, one in the left.... It's pretty funny!

have you ever noticed that almost all of nicklebacks songs sound alike? Same thing with Creed...... I use to like Nickle back but not as much any more.

Anyone like Rave , Trance, or Techno. Some of my favorite CD's are the Blackest album tributes to Metallica. Awesome Techno Metallica songs.
