Hijacking Threads

We received various suggestions regarding this problem. One suggestion is to downgrade members who have no regard for thread topics. We agree that this problem needs to be addressed in order to protect the limited time that members have to read threads on this forum. We have begun a corrective process which includes downgrading of members who do not comply.

Please report thread hijackings using the red triangle http://www.investorsiraq.com/images/buttons/report.gif at the top right hand of the post you wish to report. Complaining on the thread is not acceptable either.

It is not completely wrong to make an OFF TOPIC remark within your ON TOPIC post, but to solicit a response to your OFF TOPIC remark is hijacking. Also, those who respond to OFF TOPIC remarks which cause threads to derail are also guilty of hijacking. All violators will be downgraded for a specific period of time and repeat violators will be premanently downgraded.

We have enough forums on this website to accommodate your discussions. If you have an urge to post OFF TOPIC, the simple solution is to start a new thread in the appropriate forum. If you don't, you will be placing your account in jeopardy.
