Warka New CD Rates

Dear Warka Clients,

In accordance with the changes made to the interest rates offered by the Central Bank of Iraq on the 1st of February 2008 in which they lowered their interest rates by 1% thus the interest rates on our certificates of depoists are:

1- 3 months CD: 12%.
2- 6 months CD: 13%.
3- 1 year CD: 14%

The above interest rates will be applied as of the 1st of February 2008.

Lowering interest rates....

You didn't mention the 2 year CD. Has the rate for the 2 year CD changed as well....or have you done away with the 2 year CD?

We are wanting to invest in 2 year CDs right now.
