And our Iraqi buddies are left out of the action, so sad. At some point, one would think all would set aside thier differences and just pump to wealth. What is wrong with the Kuwaiti or Saudi model and just pay its citizens to stay home?

Long term high oil prices will hurt all of us. However, short term, may put pressure on Iraq to get their act together.

well if every other person would car pool every day until a surplus of fuel was around maybe the prices fall down oh well who really cares anyways :(
