AWB resumes bidding for Iraqi wheat contracts

Wheat exporter AWB has resumed bidding for Iraqi wheat contracts, now that its row with Iraq over allegedly contaminated grain shipments is over.
AWB and a number of US suppliers have tendered for a contract of up to 150,000 tonnes of hard wheat.
Iraq has resumed wheat imports from the US after a 15-year break. The country needs to import about 3 million tonnes of wheat a year.
