Effect of elections on Dinar

Hi folks,

I was wondering - would it not be worth our while to elect a president that is going to put Iraqi security as one of his main priorities? This would make the country safer, thus improving their economy, thus our investment is more worthwhile.

At the moment, I think that Bush has the highest priorities in Iraq.
Please dont bash me for getting political, but this will have a very large effect on our investment.

Andrew, I personally think you are absolutely correct!!!! I believe Bush does have the right priorities with Iraq. Bush's cabinet has some outstanding people that I don't believe Kerry would be able to assemble. Just my thought.

Yeah, i agree. Kerry would probably appoint a cabinet that would not be as agressive in dealing with the problems in Iraq.

Kerry will bring in the U.N. anyone who has studied the U.N. knows that when they get shot at, they leave. Might as well wipe your butt with dinar if that happens.

If Bush was the equivilant of hitler you would have "vanished" by now.....get real. I don't support Kerry but the man isn't a hussein or stalin, I just don't agree with him on diffrent issues. I know even if Kerry wins that I could criticize him openly and not have his secret police come kill me. If you are gong to criticize Bush go ahead, but don't compare the man to hitler that's slander and you know it.

Well everyone is biased, that doesn't bother me but will you admit that if bush was REALLY like hitler that you would be TERRIFIED to criticize him. Do you hear the secret police coming to your house? hmmmm don't think so.

Explain how bush wanted "oil profits" we could have just BOUGHT oil from saddem and kept doing buisness with him, it would have been easier for bush to do that.

maybe you should study conditions in nazi germany or saddams iraq for that matter..........in either of these situations..........these articles would not be printed.........there would be no criticism. The ACLU is complaining (or was I don't know if they won or not) about the city ceal of LA, it has multiple religious symbols on it........among them a cross, and a pagan goddess.........they want the CROSS off but say nothing of the pagan goddess............biased? .The Geneva convention applies to uniformed combatants. Spies, insurgents, terrorists, do not fall under this. During World War II when conventional combat was happening a spy would be SHOT on sight because that didin't fall under the conventions rules. While we were invading Iraq in 03 if an Iraqi surrendered and was in uniform he damn well better have been treated well. If he runs out in civillian clothes attacking, he will die.

If Iraq didnt' have WMDs (yeah I'm tired of hearing that phrase as well) why is it during 1998 CONSISTANT death threats were made towards the UN inspectors, Why? Clinton authorized attacks on some faclities near bahgdad because of the WMD issue.

As to natiosn doing buisness with Iraq.......they were propping up a dictator which is wrong. Like I said if we wanted oil we could have BOUGHT IT like everyone else. France and Russia were at our invasion because they lost ther very lucrative buisness partner Saddam Hussein.

I'm not angry at you but I'm terrible pissed at Democrats like Kerry and Clinton who flock their herd like sheep. It was Bush Sr. who implimented plans and eliminated the American debt. Yes thats right, a republican. It was Clinton who came into office and started spending money again that he didnt have yet who put us back into the debt range of a trillion dollars. It was Clinton and Gore who not only sold secrets to foreign countries but they are also the ones who fired cruise missiles at Bin Laden thinking that spending 100 billion dollars of nothing but missles and waisting every penny of it was worth out TAXES.

Kerry is an arrogant AZZ....just watch him, if you didnt have an agenda, you would absolutely hate the guy. He's run nothing but a smear campaign on Bush from the get go and now democrats and Kerry are CRYING when Bush starts one which was only started about two months ago or less. And yes, if the veterans who were on the boat with Kerry are telling the truth about him shooting his own foot and lying, then Kerry has no right to cry about him getting bashed.

Yes Kerry would be a complete wuss and ignore the world while he piles on an even bigger debt making MORE TAXES but at the same time giving more medical aid care and such here in the states. On another note, How many americans died in Bosnia and other STUPID countries just policing those areas under Democrats such as Clinton? Yeah , I thought so....... you dont want to think about that. Right now we need to be worrying about the middle east. Damnit , they hate us there because their people are sheep to the slaughter, they believe whatever they are told by their governments. And we can pull out completely, it still wont make them happy. They want us to leave so they can have the freedom to make plans to go to war with Israel and other countries there. They know they wont be able to if we are involved in the middle east.

But no, if you dont think the future for you kids and grand kids is important, go ahead and vote for Kerry. And when Israel and Iran get into a nuclear war pulling Korea into it and other countries as well and THE WORLD IS INHABITABLE.........dont come crying to me. Dont come crying to me because your well fare or medical aid or whatever reason you want Kerry in is so important for the right now.

And guess what, I'm not a republican nor am I a Democrat. I'm one of the few people who make up their own minds and vote for the guy who would make the best president PERIOD...and you know what.......if you hate republicans that much, vote for Nader because Kerry would make a sh*tty president.

And before I end this message let me say, Kerry attacks everything bush does personally. You dont hear Bush coming on TV live saying Kerry is a moron, no because he's got some class in him. Kerry gets on TV and bashes Bush for visiting Florida........ You know good damn and well that if Bush hadnt visited, Kerry would of bashed him even harder. If Kerry had some class and some decency in his body, he would show some class and then you know what, I may of actually voted for him. He AGREED to those terms, to let UN inspectors in. Remember he lost the 1991 gulf war. So you are so sure Saddam's Iraq didn't have ANY WMDs? Maybe he used them all on the kurds. What do you think was shipped to Syria? What was Iraq keeping from the UN? If it had nothing why would it kick them out? I don't know how big you imagine WMDs to be. They are easily hiddden, or buried for that matter. It doesn't take taht much sarin to kill a lot of people. It seems as though you have no problem with Iraq breaking many resolutions that were agreed upon after gulf war 91.

It seems as though its ok to kill innocent Serbs but not ok to kill innocent Iraqis. I agree propping up dictators is not good, and yes we have done it in the past, mainly during the cold war, it was the "lesser of 2 evils and/or the enemy of my enemy is my friend"
