The Ministry of Finance announced Friday a plan to protect banks in areas where clashes between security forces and "terrorist" groups, a sign not to possess certain information about the size of a bank robbery in Mosul.

The Financial Secretary said Fadhil Nabi told the (long press), "the Ministry promised plan to keep Iraq from thefts during military operations carried out by security forces against terrorist groups and the fear that terrorist groups to rob banks, adding that the agenda included technical and administrative technical matters."

"The Prophet said that the plan has been applied is Saladin, Kirkuk, Anbar and Diyala," he said, adding that "the banks in prior periods of now safe modern and advanced combustion and explosion resistant attempt theft."

The Prophet did not make sure that some armed groups and terrorist (daash) stole some branches of banks in the province of Mosul, 100% have no confirmed information about the security situation in Mosul, had not yet been resolved."

The Organization (daash) had control over the city of Mosul, Ninawa Governorate, (405 km north of the capital), at (10 June 2014), and seized security installations and its airport, and hundreds of prisoners were released, leading to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of families of the city to the surrounding areas and Kurdistan, daash activity also extended to the provinces of Salaheddin, Kirkuk and Diyala.
