The difference is we arrest child molesters and not legally marry them just ask those Mormons in Texas.

Another sad attempt to compare Jihadists to Americans and downplay their atrocities...

Exactly... and marrying children it is not mainstream among Mormons. Certainly not an 8 year old. In America, that is a criminal act which would be harshly judged by the community.

Not sure why Geowhiz would try to attack Mormonism as an immediate counter-reaction to seeing sharia culture criticized... Seems to be a pattern though.

When Mormons outside of Utah get caught they pay. However arranged marriages of children (ok not 8 but by 15) including interfamily marriages (cousins), are disgustingly common in southern Utah towns like Hildale and over the border in Colorado City. Utah generally looks the other way until some girl speaks out to the public about abuse and the press catches wind of it.

Hardly comparing the two or attacking Mormonism. Just saying that there are dirty little secrets going on right here in America. Exploitation of children in the "Name of God" is one of them.

That is a fact ! and I second that with the sole prejudice intent of attacking LDS or "mormanism" !!! Money & Power are the only reason the LDS cult has been able to keep the masses from blasting their behavior !! Even in more mainstream metro areas such as Salt Lake City, everyone seems to look the other way ! Drive by a high school or even junior high in the SLC metro area after school any day of the week, those aren't the young girl's grandfathers picking them up from school !

I'm not that freakin' OLD, (and not a Morman) the sick, demented old Mormans picking up schoolgirls are 50+ . When visiting Utah, I just take care of their neglected 40-something yr. old wives while the husbands are out molesting children !
 :tongueout:

Am I the only one that got the reference to Mohammad and Ayesha??? Just wanted to bring it up since few people probably know this story about the "Prophet".

Spent many months in Price sitting on wells about 15 years ago (young, dumb, and full of .....)

I can relate. Nothing like a 3.2 Utah (club) bar on a Friday night. Dam there were some freaky jack women in Price, most of them married.

"In response to a question from Judge Mohammed al-Qadhi, he acknowledged that the "marriage was consummated, but I did not beat her."

WOW! At least "the prophet" waited until his first wife was 10 years old!!!!

My cousin & his friends to me to a topless joint in Utah as a joke ! It wasn't until I had been escorted outside, by three bouncers and a cop, that I was informed Utah has something known as the "three foot law" !!!!

NO, they just served that bad watered down water that Utah refers to as beer.
It was in the downtown area of Salt Lake City. I was sliding some cash into this fine young (not young by Utah standards) lady's g-string, which she was wholeheartedly into at the moment, when out of nowhere I get jumped by a bouncer , dust him off and there are two more bouncers. We wind up in the parking lot where they are accompanied by a cop who informs me I violated the law, and the lady, by entering a three foot radius of the dancing girl and that it is common for Utah bouncers to sneak up playing billybada$$ instead of just telling you that you just broke a law and must subsequently vacate the premises !!
