Cargo Apartheid: UK Muslim Airport Porters Refuse to Handle Israeli Luggage

My friend Miriam Bedein traveled to Britain early in April. She arrived on British Air from Israel, and as she arrived at the baggage claim, she observed that there were no porters at the site. She asked what was happening of the gentleman who was taking her to the baggage carousel, and he said "Ooh, the porters are Muslim and they will not handle any luggage coming from Israel" (In Britain, the porters take the luggage off the carousels and take them to your cab, etc.) While it was not his job, the gentleman was kind enough to get her luggage for her.

I urge my readers to write, particularly to British Air and Heathrow Ariport. But I have another solution, as well:
DON'T GO TO BRITAIN.
It's essentially a Muslim Nation--Dar Al-Islam. Let them have halal bangers and mash all they want, but not our dollars. This situation is in place, because--as with all things--the Brits kowtow to Islam and have allowed this intolerable behavior

I could be well of the mark here but in my part of Britain no airport porter has ever taken my bags to the cab, and i havent heard of this happening at any airport in the UK, perhaps i gotta pay more then £1.99 for my tickets next time, if your becks and co, ah maybe.

And this has NOT been reported in any paper or TV i have seen, would have thought a paper would just love to get this story.

You know its getting a bit boring having to keep on defending my country and us Brits these days....what am i the only bloody Brit on here who sticks up for it and us...and i dont even like the place, come on fella's stick it back.

The bit about "BRITS KOWTOW to ISLAM" is utter, totall, crap, not one BRIT that i know and i suspect many allso i dont know, KOWTOW to ISLAM, sure our leaders are doing their best to make it seem this way, but take it from me everyone here hates what is happening to us and our country.
This person makes it sound like in their country you just say "Oh we dont want that here" and hey presto its gone, if only that was the case.

If you do know how to make things for the better, best you try first on your own country...if it works please let us know how to do it!.

Or that you allow the funerals of soldiers to be picketed by homophobic nutcases in the name of free speech, or that you allow British students to get caught up in shootings at US uni's because you won't curb your insatiable appetite for guns when you could so easily help yourselves and others.

The man, known only as David T, and his 10-year-old son were stopped from going into the pool at Clissold Leisure Centre in Stoke Newington, east London.

Last night embarrassed management at the complex said staff were wrong to turn customers away from the designated 'men-only modesty session' on Sunday morning.

The council says the special early-morning get-togethers are aimed at community groups who have strict rules on segregation.

But the dad and his lad were prevented from swimming when they turned up at 9am on Sunday.
David T said: "I arrived at the pool to discover that they were holding what staff described to me as 'Muslim men-only swimming'.

"I asked whether my son and I could go as we were both male. I was told that the session was for Muslims only and that we could not be admitted.

"I asked to speak to the duty manager, who confirmed that this was the case."

He added: "I asked what would happen if I turned up and insisted I was Muslim.

"The manager suggested that they might ask the Muslims swimming if they minded my son and I swimming with them.

"If they didn't object, we might be allowed in."

The men-only modesty swimming sessions take place every Sunday from 8am to 9.30am.
Two websites have been advertising the sessions for Muslim men only.

But a leisure centre spokesman said staff were out of order to refuse people entry for being non-Muslim.

He said: "The member of staff the user spoke with at the time was mistaken when referring to the session as Muslim only.

"The men's modesty session is not a private hire and is, therefore, open to the public. Muslim men and others can attend.

"Staff cannot ask your religion on entrance and you won't be refused entry if you don't appear to be Muslim."

A spokesman for Hackney Council said: "None of Hackney's leisure centres have religiously segregated swimming sessions in their public timetables.

"In common with most public swimming facilities, there are single sex sessions, and this session was men only.

"The member of staff in this situation made a mistake... Hackney Council would wish to apologise to any member of the public who was given incorrect information."

Maybe you Brits should read 'Londanistan'. Keep your heads in the sand under the realm of 'tolerence' and you soon find you have lost your country. Look what has happened in France, Denmark, and even in your country with the bombings that you have had to go through. I am surprised that you think that these types of activities don't have an end game plan to them.

No matter how much you'd like to, you can't make single events representative of an entire nation.

Nobody denies there are problems, and stupid problems at that. But there are enormous problems in your sainted America too, and we don't scream 'boycott' at you, because we know it's not representative of the majority. These things you post are not the only things happening in a single given day. Like Iraq, there are a lot of positive things that do not get reported, because it's only trendy to whip up negativity.

Heard about this but never read about it untill now, strange that its Clissold in Stoke Newington, as this area is predomently Jewish. Human Rights and all now days.

Again this all keeps going back to the fact that we...the BRITS...seem to be letting this happen, can i suggest if you do have a plan to cure it, you send it on to us, on our own we could fix it...but with our leaders we got now..never.

OH by the way, hows the fence getting on?...you know, the one that is going to stop you being over run with Mexicans.
