As we look at the Iraqi's writing their constitution, there are many things to consider. The link below articulates some of the similarities and differences in writing the constitution adopted by the USA, (written in 1787), and the constitution currently being written by the Iraqis. Neither document is absolutely perfect, and compromise is the key to a workable document.
