A diary entry from a soldier in a Stryker brig., I like reading his stories. Hope this does not violate any rules.

Hey There Fast1....
This is so neat!!! Like getting a letter from the front line. Gonna take a while to get through all the posts and responses....but makes for some great reading!! This guy will have it made when he gets back to the states. Already has some incredible offers.
Thanks for sharing!!

Hey KelleyB - my cover is off to you and yours. My bro in law just got back(contractor) from Balad. He is really impressed with the Stryker Brigades. The troops treated him like a brother! He mentioned me being a former jarhead and all (check this out)-one of the guys gave him a souvenir to give to me!
You really don't know how much that meant to me. U guys are first class!
Aunt Gwennie- There is a lot of material to read, I like to read it now and again because it kind of closes the distance. Besides that-this guy is hillarious! He needs to publish his memoirs. What the non-military types may not understand is that this guy is also the razor's edge at the flick of a switch. We are lucky to have so many quality people in our military.

:crying: Your so cool. Thanks. You caught me on one of those emotional days. :) Must remember to get medication earlier. I do appreciate all your wonderful comments and I am glad that your BIL was well treated. I hear a lot of negitive stuff and it is always welcomed to hear something positive for a change.
Take great care.

What the Stryker guys did not know was that they were taking care of a wife and 4 little ones. They were just being themselves but they are now heros to my family. It is the small acts of kindness that the troops do that will remain in eternity. It's like they cradled my family when we needed it most. :)
Sorry to get emotional....please pass the prozac.
