Hello. Has anyone else had trouble with shipping from Jordan via Fedex or Dhl. Is one better than the other. My dinars were refused by Fedex in Bahrain and nearly confiscated. They were then returned to the sender and shipped via Dhl and did get here 4 days later. It says on the envelope not to ship currency and the package is only insured for a max of $100 U.S. What happens if the parcel is siezed are we just out our money. Is it legal to ship currency with fedex and Dhl. I would like to order more but am a bit gunshy about ordering from the country of Jordan again. I would like to read about your experience or your advise on ordering more. Thanks..........

Don't do Fedex! A few of us had trouble with them stopping currency in Dubai along the way and refusing to send it on through. Go with DHL, or TNT... or even USPS.

I bought twice from Amer in Jordan and both times service was speedy and no problems, came right to my door in about 4-5 days.

Hello: I have purchased three times with Amer and I have received all three in good order. I understand your concern, however. Until they are safe in your hot little hands, there will always be a concern for everyone who purchases them! :drunk:

Has anyone had the dinars siezed. What happens then, any recourse. How big were your orders, if you don't mind me asking. Mine was for six million I needed sedation=Beer by the time they were siezed in Dubia at the fedex hub, returned to Jordan and reshipped Dhl. There was no problem with Dhl by the way, but having them siezed and eventually released by fedex in Dubai was scary.

My orders have been all under a million each. Six million for you? :D I'm envious!

Hollywood-
Yes, I had mine siezed first on this forum... a long time ago by Fedex in Dubai. Their policy is to convert it to US dollars and write you a check. I tried to convince them to do that... but they wouldn't. Especially since the only currency converter they use still has the dinar being worth over 30 cents. When they told me this... I told them to go ahead and mail me that check for 3 million US dollars... but... alas... they realized their error and decided to send it back to the sender. Also, I was at no legal reprocutions for the whole ordeal, so just have your seller send it back to you via DHL or Usps.
