Another Iraqi Stock Exchange?

Thanks for your responce on the ISX increasing from 3 days to a full week of trading once the electronic systems come on line. Your responce mentioned it was a planned part of phase one, which leads me to believe there is a long term plan in place already with additional phases yet to come.

new question now.............. we have seen reports of a second stock exchange being formed in the northern kuristan region. If this does occur will it operate together with the ISX in Baghdad, or will it be a seperate independant operation?

and does your Karmal organization plan to be a broker for it?

I believe there will not be another market in Iraq befor at lest two years , for several reasons, first the current law does not permit and we must await the issuance of the new law before establishes new market as well as another reason that the process of organizing and establishing new market is not easy, there are not enough qualified Iraqi cadres now To build a new market
Therefore I believe that there will be market after a long period and would be independent from ISX in the first stage, but later they will merged same as what happened in Egypt, where there was a long time two markets, one in Cairo another in Alexandria and now they merged in one market
Are we will be part of any other market ?
one of the most important goals to us is to expansion both in Iraq and outside Iraq, so if we had the opportunity we will certainly be a part of any market will be founded to serve our investors
But must be taken into consideration that there will be always one Depository Center in Iraq Which is now owned by ISX
