I posted this in another thread by accident, sorry. I wanted it to be an individual topic.
Here's some food for thought.
Did anyone here ever wonder if these supposed big guy (no name needed) rumor posters are just posting what a dealer may be feeding them?
It's just so obvious that every time these posters are making these new exciting announcements that they are also announcing how they are buying more and more dinar. You must understand that some people are very gullible and even if they may sound intelligent that doesn't really mean they are. Take Bush for instance, without someone telling him what to say he is as dumb as a bag of hammers. But put some words in his head and he sounds like a president.
My point here is that the rumor posters may very well be manipulated by shrewd dealers to buy dinar with rumors of I have great sources. Get it?

.....sure that could be true...
...but also remember....loose lips sink ships..but they flap anyway..
there is always 'someone', that serves the coffee in a meeting...and waiting in line at the donut stand...there is always 'someone', that overhears a conversation, unless you are in a sound proof box...

Not to mention...Obviously these werent overheard conversations, supposedly it is a constant stream of info...what are the chances of that.

Haven't we put this issue to rest yet? Dumb as a bag of hammers? I mean really. You think YOU'RE an independent thinker when you simply regurgitate the blather put out by the mainstream media re: his intelligence? If Bush is simply a stupid fool who is fed only what his advisors want him to say, then what are YOU. Sounds to me like you haven't done you're due dilligence re: his intelligence!

Ya know, it must really be sad to go through life with such a suspicious and negative outlook on life. Like it has been said before, you should not make financial decisions based on what you read on this forum, especially from the "Rumors" section. Some people just aren't cut out for an adventure like this because they always have to find something negative in every situation and try to "bring everyone else down" to their level. Just read the rumors for what they are and enjoy the ride! Life it too short to always try to find the "what's wrong with this picture" scenario. ;)

It's simply impossible for some people to "think outside the box." Typical liberal drivel. Somebody's always out to put the screws to someone else. I am so sick and tired of this "oh, I'm a victim" :crying: mentality...Really gets my ire up (can you tell?). Offer nothing productive - simply take pot shots at any opportunity or good will.

All I can say is I feel for you sheeple.
Denial is a powerful force.
I have over $75,000 USD personally invested in dinar. Not alot compared to others but enough for a middle class guy. My investment was formed on rumor so I have no problem with rumors but even if today I was told by Ibrahim al-Jaafari that the dinar would open tomorrow I would not buy more.

No rumors here but just the facts. My two best sources are business associates and are NOT dealers. The others I cannot say definitively because I don't know them. And you are going to find out very soon (on or before the 16th of this month) just how misguided your theories are.

Regen might not have had the most eloquent presentation with his post, but he does have somewhat of a point. We can all tell people not to buy based on Clay's and Lance's rumors, but the fact is, people are buying on his rumors. Take out Regen's political slams and he has a valid question. I have wondered the same Regen and Clay had explained to me in PM's it was not dealers. On a side note, Bush had a better GPA then Kerry. Gore bombed out becuase he was into drugs and Clinton is just a "Used Carpet Salesman" and Carter, well, he can build a house and farm peanuts.

my best source of information is in fact a dealer, who has earned my trust by providing an amazing service IMO...
by the way, she indicated on 8/3/05 that she had noticed a surge in orders from military personell including one air force commander who said all of his friends were buying and another individual with a shipping address at the pentagon.

You couldn't be more correct. I've been watching this site for over a year and have seen more rumors come and go claiming that the peg is near. The interesting thing is that I bought about ten million Dinar in the beginning and eventually sold off all but about three only keeping various denominations. I am looking to buy some 50 and 250 denoms just because I don't have any. As far as this being an investment??? Well, alot of people compare the IQD to the Kuwiati Dinar of the early 90's, but what no one seems to mention is the fact that Kuwait's currency already had a world trade market prior to it's reformation. The IQD did not and may not ever. The IQD dealers on here are praying on those that hate their jobs, are in debt, have (more than likely) bi-polar dissorder, or some other fantastic idealology that if you spend a few grand you will some day become richer than your wildest dreams. I personally like how the paper looks. I don't know much about the peg or the float as to when or if it may happpen. I just think it's fun to collect currency from around the world. My plan is to wallpaper my office some day with an assortment of world currency. Some is more expensive than others and I have found that if you can buy currency that is worthless to most, it makes for pretty cheap wallpaper.
Maybe someday I will have to start cashing in my wallpaper, but in the mean time, it looks pretty cool.
By the way, all you bi-polar/alcoholic/uneducated idiots on here need not reply or PM me with your fodder, I have no interest in your thoughts or making conversation.

"I've been watching this site for over a year and have seen more rumors come and go claiming that the peg is near."
Let me ask you this please:
1) How could the Dinar possibly open before the debt situation was resolved? The UNCC claim submission deadline was June 30th of this year. All rumors of an opening can be discarded. The debt is used as an input for the IMF valuation models.
These rumors have validity and soon you will find that out.

As brer mentioned, due diligence.
Also, you have never ONCE seen Lance, Clay or any other 'inside' person say "looks like an X peg by Y date... maybe you should consider that last minute dinar purchase from Dealer Z."
These guys are clearly not pushing a particular dealer, product, or website, so I don't see how your theory holds any water.
As many have stated in the past, it doesn't matter one bit if the rumor guys are spouting BS because you should only purchase what you can afford to lose.

The thing is, we are grownups...I personally don't buy just on the excitement. How about this...look at the rumors, then see if you can find any hard news to back it up. If so, great...if not, great. But educate yourself. Now let's get back to some good rumors aight?
WHY are we saying Sunday now...and the delayed meeting, I think Clay said that the one being moved to Sunday is no big deal right? The Constitution is a done deal?
More lobbying is necessary for parliamentary approval. Therefore, a 2 day delay while Talabani and Jaafari lobby. They don't want to risk a rejection if a few days will yield an approval.

First of all who gives a rats if they are dealers passing the rumors.....If you buy on rumors shame on you.....and as far as everyone posting that it is dealers posting the rumors I have a question. Are you everyones mom and dad? All these people are adults well I hope, and can make up their own minds to buy or not. Now if you want to use that dealers are posting rumors to pass your political views then just be a man and post your damn political views. Are if you want to just cry about something go look in the mirror and cry to yourself because everyone has enough problems without listening to you cry. I just thought this was what MB was trying to say.....if not this is what I'm saying.......

I agree it's a valid question. Just because this is a rumour Forum does not mean we shouldn't have the "10 questions" asked. The problem is when the guy starts name calling and adding political spin. That is uncalled for. As far as questioning the rumours, sure, they may not be able to devulge some info, but there is nothing wrong with honest and civil debate. The good news is these rumours are very specific and there is a set time frame. Basically there is no "escape route" for this specific info. So ask questions, be civil, and let the month play out. At that point we'll all either be wealthy or we'll simply reshuffle the deck.

I completely respect your skepticism. I think even the most optimistic, diehard dinar fans would, too. I have been skeptical of rumors in the past; this new round of rumors seem much, much more plausible because of the 'confluence of events.'
Negativity doesn't bother me -- the goofy, cloak-n-dagger conspiracy theory 'Lance and Clay are Dinar Dealer Operatives' *does* bother me.
We're not children here. We've made an adult decision to throw good money at a highly speculative gamble. We don't need Canadian goofballs that can barely spell come in here and broadbrush Americans or other members come in here and insinuate this is some grand conspiracy being foisted upon the 'tyical (sic) greedy Americans' by Lance and Clay.
For @$%!@$!% sake, this is a **RUMORS** forum. If you don't like what you read here, then let us greedy American idiots get snookered in peace, ok?
I don't think anyone is disparaging healthy skepticism.

It's not that presenting an opposing opinion is bad. It's the personal attacks that keep people away that I know would add credible information to the forum. Some of this gets hostile.......personally attacking members or even the country they represent. It's not as harmless as you may think.
MB
I agree. Personal attacks are lame. No question.
But stop for a moment. read through some threads lately. Even people who make the attempt to state a "negative" opinion or idea are instantly put on the defense by a good majority on these forums who instantly go on the attack thinking that someone else's differing view is a personal attack and an aimed shot of urine at their corn flakes. :drunk:
I never claimed it was harmless either. ;)
I claimed that many people take it all way toooooo seriously. I mean how do people who gets soooo wound up about things live life? This is the internet it the ultimate vision of moderating and cyphoning the information you get. Heh, even my old Minister used to say in the middle of a sermon, "but this is all just grass, and you're all just cows, and you can choose to swallow it down and stare back at me with those big dumb eyes, or you can briong the cud back up give it another taste and if you don't like it, you should just spit it out."
That man got more respect out of me for that because he catered to the skeptics, but at any rate, his lesson should always be applied to the internet. I hope in my lifetime someone can reproduce Orsen Wells and cause mass hysteria using the internet and all the people who just instantly believe - because I read it online. :shhh:
Have fun guys.

It's about hearing the same opinon over and over........Then it starts to be not an opinon, but how you should do things, and how it should be done, and how you should feel and telling people how to think.....the best bet in life is to worry about your business and not everyone elses...and life would be good....Nothing worse in the world is people telling people how they need to live their life......

I hope you are right, Clay, I honestly 100% swear to God hope you are right.
But that still does not settle all of these guys with their super duper "secret agent man" 'sources' who are "in-the-know". :drunk:
Some people like myself smell scandal when something like this "leaked" to "credible sources" who then have another "leak" to some guy who posts on a forum. I mean really Clay, behind these screen names, we could all be 500lb Santa Claus looking dudes, wearing ripped and stained sweats, sipping a Jolt Cola and wondering whose string we can pull next to get a rise out of them for our own personal jollies. Unlikely that we ALL could look like Santa, but then again, there are a lot of malls out there and we're really only in demand during one season of the year. ;)
Peace. Joy. Have fun. Let's get rich. And I won't apologise if my skepticism put your panties in a bind.
I have a question for you: why even post here? Why discuss the dinar on the forum if you have such skepticism? Why not just turn off the computer and assess the dinar's prospects dispassionately by yourself?
Truth be told, it's almost as though you WANT TO BE CONVINCED THAT THIS IS A GUARANTEED WINNER of an investment. You want people to reassure you, because you're not sure of yourself.
I'm sorry, but that's not going to happen here. Even those of us who post research or "tips" that we receive know this basic fact: THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES. Things could go horribly wrong, or they could turn out as we anticipated. DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK, NO ONE HERE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR FINANCIAL DECISIONS BUT YOU.
Assess whatever credibility you wish to the people who post here, but please don't disparage all of the well-intentioned people who are here to assess the dinar's prospects. That's a disservice to them. You are free to review or ignore their posts, and I ask that you not create an environment where people no longer want to post their research and/or "tips" here.

I'm sorry if my political views offended anyone. I did not intend for this thread to become a blood-fest, it was solely a what if and my opinion.
It's a valid question -- what if the 'inside guys' are dealers?
It takes about 30 seconds to completely dismantle that what if. No rumor guys have **EVER** tried to make anyone buy dinar. None of them have website URLs in their sigs. None of them have pitched or recommended a particular dealer. They've all said to do your own research and that this is high risk gamble.
I challenge **all** naysayers to find **one** post where the rumor guys have said something untoward that could be construed as trying to make forum members buy dinar so the rumor poster could benefit.
It's time for all the naysayers to either put up or shut up.
If someone is **stupid** enough to go out and blow money on NID because of a rumor and then lose their , they deserve it.
We don't need nannys coming in here (liberal, Canadian or otherwise) trying to protect us from Lance or Clay.

Very fair assessment....Do you really know the people who post here? No!
That's why it is imperative to "weigh" the rumored information with published facts. But in defense of these rumors......the published facts aren't always what is happening. Lots of deals go on behind the scenes that the "average Joe" will never know or hear about....and for good reason. You see the bickering and arguing over a rumor here. If the average citizen actually knew what goes on behind the scenes.......at time there would be utter chaos.
I would hope no one would be making life changing decisions based on public forum information.......but there is and I guess always will be. We all want to believe in Santa Claus. LOL

It's one thing to present valid disagreements on why the dinar will or will not succeed. It's quite another to start casting aspersions on people who are contributing information and research in good faith. We are all responsible for assessing the credibility of posters ourselves, and we don't need you to come along and start driving contributors off the board because of your skepticism. We don't need you to "look out for" us when that means that you're going to denigrate and cast aspersions on good faith contributors.
"Take Bush for instance, without someone telling him what to say he is as dumb as a bag of hammers. But put some words in his head and he sounds like a president."
"All I can say is I feel for you sheeple"
"Some of us have been saying this all along, you guys seem to totally ignore anything but good news. Seems some of us are blinded ny greed"
"The IQD dealers on here are praying on those that hate their jobs, are in debt, have (more than likely) bi-polar dissorder, or some other fantastic idealology that if you spend a few grand you will some day become richer than your wildest dreams."
"By the way, all you bi-polar/alcoholic/uneducated idiots on here need not reply or PM me with your fodder, I have no interest in your thoughts or making conversation."
"tyical americans, to blinded by greed to listen to people and to ignorant to see the whole picture. your people have always been this way and always will. you guys are always trying to find a hero and follow. that is why you are the cult capital of the world."

If we conservatives would not be so greedy and simply give every American 25,000 dinar now, we would be able to end poverty in the US when this thing pegs. We should be ashamed of ourselves! (bowing my head in shame now) :lmao:
I guarantee you that liberals will have a field day with any conservative politician who makes a penny on the dinar peg (of course, we'll never hear a peep about the liberal ones). Okay, let's get this baby back on track. I understand from a reliable source that Prime Minister Jaafari is behind all of this. He, as it turns out, is the biggest Dinar dealer in the world. He feeds his rumors to the U.S. government on a daily basis, which, in turn, feeds it down the chain where it ultimately ends up here. He sets meetings and deadlines which he then hints will portend the release and peg of the Dinar and then reschedules them after the initial flood of new orders comes through. Some believe George Bush is really behind the leaks as a way of preparing for the elimination of social security as we know it -- aka "private Dinar accounts." By working with Jaafari, and the IIF, George W. has encouraged many to rely on the Dinar for retirement rather than on the federal goverment. While George W. acts as if he has a head full of hammers, his grades at Yale --which were higher than Kerry's by the way --prove otherwise. In fact, I have heard that the new Iraqi Dinars were actually printed up during George W.'s first year in office which would show his long term plan in this regard and his patience. How Clay, Lance et al. fit in, I am still working on. However, have you ever noticed that "Clay" and "Lance" both have C's and L's in them? :drunk:

Where the line is crossed is when members attack the messenger and not the message and cry foul and claim we're all Kool Aid drinkers.

Since when did being called a European become an attack? Do you have some issues with our European brethren?
Pretty sad when you have to go back 200 years on behalf of your country to find a time you beat anyone.
Look around you...can you spend your Canadian funny money as many places as US dollars? Which major countries base their currency on yours. I think it is an established fact that the US is the leader of the world.

So, please don't patronize me or I'll buy your house out from under you. Or are you just a frat boy diligently typing away at your keyboard that your daddy bought for you, in your dorm room. not a peronal attack, just defending myself  ! You never know who is on the other end of the keyboard. They may actually be a lot more successful than you, and a lot more smarter
[/QUOTE.
*ahem* more smarter? Ummmmmmkay then.
All I said was I'm not European. How does that constitute an attack. Please take it all in, in a calm manner

Define how I did'nt get off on the right foot. I don't believe you are "evil American hegemony" Whatever that means. I have repeatedly said you guys have been there for us. I even joked that our only submarines are in the west edmonton mall ferrying tourists in the dolphin pool. Please check your facts. You have no idea how un-innocent I am. Like I said, this thread is for this discussion. If you don't like it please leave. By the way, my idea of pushing peoples buttons and sitting back and watching the show is purely comical. Like I've said before, that is how you guage people and their personalities. It's hard to do that on the internet when you can't see body language, facial expressions etc... I do it to test peoples characters and therefore their dinar theories. I am strictly only here for bone, basic information. If you think I'm all tore up over this, you are extremelly mistaken sir.
Well, even your wife had to chastise you on your posting etiquette, correct?
Your posts vacillate between "America, our friendly neighbor of the south!" and "typical greedy Americans" spiel. I have "checked" my facts -- I read your bipolar posts on a daily basis.
It's amazing now that people like yourself that are questioning Clay/Lance et al are telling the people that want to read rumors to leave the rumors forum. It makes no sense. If the rumor guys are these evil svengalis, then perhaps the rumors forum isn't for you.
I don't think **anyone** (with the exception of a select few) have a problem with intelligent discourse on the pros/cons of rumors. What we *DO* have a problem with is when members drag knee jerk anti-Americanism and tinfoil hat Lance/Clay theories into the mix.
Thanks for playing, tell him his consolation prize, Big Daddy Dinar! :happy64:

You sound so smart and educated. I want to be just like you. Do you run a cult I could join? I hope everyone joins me in worshiping the almighty Big Time.
"and I never attack a individuals character" I believe you called me a bipolar/alcoholic/idiot.........how did you know??
You must not be smart and educated. I NEVER called anyone bipolar/alcoholic/idiots. That was NADDAD ODADDA on another post. Why am I defending myself to people that jump to conclusions.
