Got to love the words "natural revenues". Nothing big or specific about it but encouraging nonetheless.

U.S. Amb.: Iraqis Will Finish Constitution on Time
Sunday, August 14, 2005

WASHINGTON — With the deadline for Iraq's constitution rapidly approaching, the U.S. ambassador to the country dismissed the suggestion Sunday that Iraqis may need a few more weeks to iron out differences. "The Iraqis tell me that they can finish it and they will finish it tomorrow," Zalmay Khalilzad (search) said on ABC. "There are options, obviously, should they need it, but at this point, my information is -- and I've just come from a meeting with the Iraqi leaders --that they intend to finish it tomorrow."

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraq's parliamentary speaker summoned lawmakers on Sunday to a special meeting of the National Assembly at 6 p.m. (1400 GMT) (3:00 p.m. British time) on Monday.

Members of the committee drafting a constitution said the meeting would give parliament its first opportunity to review a text of the new charter, which they said would be ready on time for the August 15 deadline set a year ago.
