A representative from Wells Fargo said that they will also be on line as soon as the dinar is on the exchange. Banks make money on this too!!! :happy64:

From a rep of PiperJaffrey investments (think they are part of the US Bank chain):
"Let me put it this way, when it opens on the market, we will not be the last ones ready."
They still refuse to give any investment info other than "Very risky", but appears they have people doing the leg work to be ready. Unofficially of course! ;)

Is there ever an investment that is not "very risky"? Well, unless you are Hillary Clinton or Martha Stewart, they seem to do very well.
Would you have trusted this group with your money??????

I was suprised that there wasn't a VW bus behind them. I hope when we all get our photo taken together that we don't look that bad. Of course, that was the time you could look like that.

Bill Gates has Apple computers to thank for his success. Few know that Bill 'borrowed' the design for the windows format. Apple was working on the basic design of 'icons' as functions for computer programs to allow regular folks to run their putes. Bill saw their design and formatted his windows design based on the Apple model. Microsoft also released earlier and stole some of Apple's thunder with their innovation. That's partly why some folks are hardcore Apple junkies and despise Microsoft. Problem is, despite the borderline monopoly, Microsoft provides great products. Microsoft is also important to the U.S. economy. Go back to when the clintong regime went after Microsoft at the behest of the jealous folks at Sun Micro, Oracle and others, the Nasdaq collectively dropped 11 billion in a few months. Funny thing was, the idiots that demanded the feds go after Microsoft, damaged their own companies as well as Microsoft. DOH! :drunk:

Let's be fair, both Apple and Microsoft stole most of their user interface ideas from Xerox, who operated an incredible research program, but lacked the business vision and swiftness to act that the leaders of both Microsoft and Apple demonstrated.
But more importantly, how many Dinars is Gates worth at todays exchange rate? :huge:

Bill Gates is worth approximately $50 billion including all his Microsoft stock plus other investments.
At 1460 dinars/$1, he's worth more than ten times the total value of dinars in Iraq, or around 73 trillion dinars.

Fortunately for us, not all of those Dinars are in Iraq. ;)

I had way to much time on my hands today. Taking Rogers 73 trillion figure, divided by 25,000 (highest denomination) x 7 (inches rounded up on length of the bill) / 63360 (to convert to miles) x 1.609 (to convert to Kilometers) comes to 519,065Km. If you put the bills end to end you could go from the earth to the moon and back and wrap around the earth 3+ times. Sorry, I was very board and needed something to do.... :D

I saw some show on TV about Americas richest people.....Now we all know that Oprah is (I think) the wealthiest WOMAN in the world, certainly the US. BUT.....if Bill Gates woke up one morning and all the had was Oprah's money....he'd probably jump off of a building!!!
LOL....such is the life of the rich.
