There are actually many that did. While I was over there the thought didn't even occur to me to invest in it. I was more worried about a chemical attack! It wasn't until 20 months later that I looked to see it rise from about .06 to over $2. All I could think of was son-of-a-#($&Q@!!!!!
That's why I had no intentions of missing this one. I don't care how long it takes, it will recover in time... :D

I was over there and did not even get a foot on the ground, I was stuck on an oil rig looking for det cord. Not to mention that I was too dumb to pay attention to things like that. :D

Egyptians were buying alot of the KD at the time. When the NID hit rock bottom they were buying that aswell. The egyptian govt. was trying to tell people not to invest their life saving in the NID because it was too risky.

I never read Jimmy Buffet's book, but considering he's Warren Buffet's nephew, I'd say that he had some pretty good investment advice. ;)

Jimmy is the man. I wanna be just like him. Every time I think of escaping, I pop in one of my JB Cd's and sail away to MV and plop on my hammock and tell the world to F-off. ;)

I believe he also was a kappa sigma, and sung about some of the secrets of his fraternity in some of his songs.
I hope we can all be singing margaritaville after this is all said and done!

Speaking of other people who have made money off similar investments...
Didn't T. Boone Pickens make a bunch off german money back in the days? I believe that is how he got the money to start his oil company.
I only know that because he just recently donated 200 million dollars (not dinar) to my alma mater!

Warren Buffet invested in the kuwati dinar investment and he tlak about it in his books.....I'm too cheap to buy it to see what it says but maybe when the dinar opens at .31 I can spare a couple of dollars :)

ok, so maybe it was Warren Buffet... I couldn't remember, but with drinking on the mind, I automatically assumed it was Jimmy.
