how did kuwait exchange there money from large bills to small so fast?did they even have large bills?if it goes up even .01 to .31cents the banks will have to have some type of smaller coin;.25-.50-1.00-5.00-10.00-25.00 and up to exchange the larger bills.thought about calling de la rue to see if they already had made the smaller bills.some how this will leak from the banks if they have the smaller coin ready to exchange.they just wont post it and not have the banks repared,or will they?come on people give me some feedback on this.and keep your posts about the thread.thanks

Didn't someone say that the CBI would make a plan to keep all large bills as they are brought back into the system? If it appreciates to $.30, then that 25k note is worth like $8000. That is a little large for your everyday purchase. Can you imagine buying gas and trying to get change for an $8000 bill? I also think I remember someone saying that Iraq has a smaller currency than the dinar; I believe it was the fil? This would work just fine, since right now the fil must be worth less than the metal it is made of

Too funny Kelly! I haven't been on here, but I do know quite a bit of the history of this investment. My oldest brother is highrollr. So, he has told me everything, and I think he gave me this link cuz he was sick of me asking him everyday what the latest news was. So, I am fairly caught up on the whole thing! AS to the currency note denominations in the question, I think the lowest bill now is the 50 dinar note. Even if it opens as high as $.10, that would only be equivilent to a $5 bill. So at the time being, unless it raises to some $.25 or more, the notes they have out now are pretty sufficient. They just may have to produce more of them.

Small notes, no problems! Just put in a PM to him asking like 100x1000 and he will send a quote. My first investment was purely the 25,000. Since then I have been strickly in the lower notes.

I could see them eventually coming out with a 25 dinar note... but anything beyond that... that will depend on the appreciation.

There are smaller dinar notes out in circulation. I have seen the 1,5, & 10 dinar bills at the Hajji Mart in Scania. They have the same security features like the 50. The venders in Scania will use some of the counterfeit Saddam bills(worthless) mixed in with @20 new dinars and try to sell it to the G.I.'s for 5 dollars. The unsuspecting GI thinks this is a good deal since he has "alot" of money.

A few months ago I read an article that had said they printed somewhere around six and one half trillion dinar, but only four and a half trillion were actually in circulation. Could the other two trillion dinar be the smaller notes waiting for them to actually be useful when the value rises? Wouldn’t this mean they were preparing for the rise in value?
